A European quadrupedal robot company whose products are used for nuclear facility inspection and hazardous material disposal.

Pain Points

The robot needs to stand by for long periods and be deployed at any time, requiring a low self-discharge battery design;

The outer casing must withstand chemical reagent cleaning, and the BMS (Battery Management System) needs to support remote status monitoring.

MXARI Solution

We select high energy density cells (≥350Wh/kg) with a low self-discharge formula. The outer casing can be made of corrosion-resistant materials and has passed chemical reagent resistance tests. The battery pack itself has basic protection functions (overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature), but the customer is responsible for integrating the BMS communication with the upper system. This allows the robot to be stored for long periods without frequent recharging, ensures the battery is not damaged during cleaning and maintenance, and enables the customer to flexibly select or develop the BMS according to their own needs.
